Our Pilates programs build stability, mobility and strength through controlled, whole-body movement and are led by instructors fluent in both training and injury recovery. The result: a more capable, mobile and stable body.
Led by experienced instructors, Pilates emphasizes precision, breath and intentional movement rather than intensity. Each session reflects how your body presents on the current day, meeting you right where you are.
Reformer Pilates is performed on a spring-loaded machine which adds resistance and support to movement. Guided sessions focus on control, alignment and strength, with options for one-on-one or semi-private sessions.
Mat Pilates focuses on controlled, floor-based movement using bodyweight and breath. Classes are intentionally small, allowing instructors to guide form, offer modifications and support postural balance. Virtual instruction is also available.
Pilates at Performance is the true discipline. Originally created to rehabilitate dancers and soldiers, physical therapists have worked with the Cadillac Reformer for decades, and that clinical foundation still shapes how we teach it today, building deep core strength, flexibility and genuine mobility.
It’s also part of a connected approach to your training. With state-of-the-art equipment and sessions built around you, your plan evolves with you, whether you’re returning from an injury, building a stronger foundation or working toward greater performance.
SESSION ONE: ASSESSING YOUR FOUNDATION
Your first session begins with an assessment of your core strength, alignment and mobility, and a conversation about where you feel restricted or unstable.
Together, you and your instructor identify what your body needs to move well:
Because Pilates works the deep stabilizing muscles other training can miss, it’s often the piece clients say they wish they had started sooner.
ONGOING PRACTICE: BUILDING CORE STRENGTH AND CONTROL
Sessions progress at the pace your body sets, building control before adding intensity. Your instructor can coordinate with your trainer and physical therapist so your practice supports the rest of your program.
Your practice stays:
Real People.
Real Progress.
Real Results.
“I originally came here for physical therapy for my knee, and started Pilates once I was done with treatment. I was intimidated by the machines and thought Pilates was only for women. But once I started, I was able to see improvements in flexibility and strength, even in muscles I didn’t realize were supporting my core, and I started to feel better. I could finally run, be more active with my kids, and do activities I previously was unable to do. As an athlete, it’s one of the best workouts I’ve ever had.”
“I focus my practice on guiding each individual toward deepening their own understanding of their unique alignment and physical choices, leading clients towards a strong, informed and balanced body which moves efficiently and with ease. I learn from each body I have the honor to work with, and I embrace being in a dynamic community of colleagues in which we can learn from each other and appreciate this opportunity to offer clients a true physical education.”
“With the support of Performance’s team of trainers, physical therapists, massage therapists and nutritionists, I was able to find a program which enabled me to work on my fitness goals without injury. The Performance team was there for me every step of the way.”
